Portrait sessions are so much more than getting "smile for the camera" pictures. They are about photographing a feeling, a face, body language and so much more. They are about spending time together in a location that will showcase who you are.
A portrait session experience can be a time to live in a creative place. A time to explore with your children, sometimes in directed activities and sometimes letting moments just be and letting the children dictate the next thing.
My portraits are captivating and showcase the vast personalities we all have. It is about being human, whether that is joyful, contemplative or quirky.
There are different ways in which we can spend time together and capture moments of you and your family. Here are different types of photo sessions to choose from:
In-Home Family Life
Kids Spotlight (show off their talent, or athletic abilities shoot!)
Sessions bolded are available in full sessions only.
Step 1. Select Your Portrait Session
If you want a lifestyle family shoot and lots of candid storytelling moments of your children, book the full session. This is great if you love lots of images and want to create an album from our shoot. If you are interested in portrait style work with fewer candids you will be happy with the half or mini session. If you are unsure, get in touch and let's talk. 207-318-1829.

"She has more energy than any other photographer I have met and will go the distance to capture the moment. It is apparent Sharyn loves what she does – I watched her work all day and her passion was still flowing well into the evening as she gained inspiration from her clients and the task at hand. Sharyn was awesome with my two small children and the pictures she took are now family heirlooms."
