The studio is at the heart of the experience. Every detail — the space, the light, the way your images are revealed — has been thoughtfully planned to welcome and delight you.

The studio is a calm, private suite — not a home, not a rented space. It was built and curated specifically for this experience.

Artwork from real client sessions is displayed on the walls at full scale. This is intentional. Before you make a single decision about your own work, you see what it looks like to actually live with photographs — framed, large, present in a room.

Most people have never experienced this. It changes what they thought they wanted.

Studio sessions are photographed in a dedicated shooting space with professional lighting and interchangeable backdrops — set up to work beautifully for individuals, families, professionals, and pets.

Not every session takes place here. Depending on your story, we may choose an outdoor location — the coast, the woods, somewhere that is entirely yours. That conversation happens during your consultation, before anything is planned.

After your session, you return to the studio for your Design & Ordering Appointment. Your images are projected large — not on a laptop, not on a phone. On a wall. The way they will eventually live in your home.

We go through them together. We talk about what moves you, what you want to hold onto, what belongs on a wall and what tells the story of this chapter. I help you see what you might not see on your own.

This is the part most photographers skip. They send a link, and you are left to decide alone, late at night, on a small screen. What gets lost is the conversation — and the conversation is where the right choices happen.

Photo session and design and ordering can happen on the same day.  Whether shot in studio or on campus. 45 minutes to to an hour return to the studio. Enjoy Makrpetlace for food. while you wait for photos

The studio is on the Pineland Farms campus in New Gloucester — about 20 minutes north of Portland. If you have never been to Pineland, it is worth arriving a few minutes early. The campus is quiet and beautiful, and a good way to arrive.
