Hank's Morning on his Family Shoot

When photographing families there are many perspectives I can take, seeing someone through the eyes of how other family members see each other.

Here are some images taken recently of a family gathering in Boothbay Harbor. They had never had a photoshoot together as a family, except for the oldest 2 daughters weddings. The daughters surprised their mom with the shoot arranging it a month before. Here some of the hundreds of pictures taken, and the story through the main character of the day, Hank! Hank was a friend to the camera and to me that day:). This is how Hank would see these photos. Enjoy!

Greeting me in the driveway! This is Hank meeting his photographer for the first time :)

Hank showed me around his grandparent's house, since I had never been there before.

This is Hank's little sister getting her early morning workout on before the shoot!

Hank's family all dressed up for family photos!

Hank's extended family on the rocks before the tide comes in.

Hank's Aunt and Uncle, married 4 years now.

Hank's mommy and 2 Aunties from oldest to youngest. One lives in Brooklyn, the other Virginia and the youngest in Ireland.

Hank's Grammy Brenda. She is the one who usually takes all the photos so I made sure to get plenty of images of her.

Hank, the lead singer in his new band.

Hank and his grampa heading back to the house. Hank really didn't want to leave the dock. I can't blame him, it is pretty awesome.

But back at the house, it is pool time! And Hank is ok with that!

The cool water in the pool makes Hank a happy boy.

This is Sadie, grammy's dog of 15 years. Word was she was 17, but it got corrected. Grammy loves Sadie very much.

This is Hank's grammy and grampa enjoying their morning coffee in Maine.
