Rachel & Nate were married at Flanagan Farm in Buxton Maine. Lani Tuscano introduced us last fall and I met them on a trip they had to Maine with Rachel's parents. Shooting at Flanagan Farm is easy because once the wedding party has arrived, there is no traveling. Rachel loved having her picture taken which is a HUGE hit with me. She and her girls loved  posing for the camera whether in their bridesmaids robes or gowns. Rachel had such an expressive face, captivating smile which took over her whole face. She was a joy to photograph. Then there was their dog Sheena, who like my Toby of 13 years, was a chow collie mix. I loved photographing her. Lani made it easy for Matt and I to shoot by having details ready, food for us and pointing out particularly exceptional details and flowers. Lighting by Event Light Pros really allowed for many creative shots after dark. We shot in the apple orchard and around the barn. I did use my own lighting but their lighting added depth and details to the landscape. Most of the images I shot that day had some form of additional lighting, but I use lighting to integrate with the setting while complimenting the subject.  For a wedding preview, please use this link to Rachel & Nate's slideshow.
