After many grand Pinterest inspired shoot ideas, Chanel and Patrick decided they wanted their engagement shoot to be at their new apartment, their first home. They wanted the shoot to be about them and natural, doing what they do. Snuggling on the couch, putting away dishes, kissing, a lot of kissing ... Chanel and Patrick met through of Howard University. They met through a FB group for new students to get to know each other before school started. Chanel and Patrick hit it off. According to Chanel, when she saw Patrick's intro video and it was him saying "hi I am Patrick", and he simply started playing the drums, she was interested. A few weeks into college freshman year they became a couple. Even though Patrick tried not to have a girlfriend right away, he said he just couldn't not. Patrick is from Maryland and Chanel is from Portland Maine. Their wedding is this weekend here in Portland Maine and I am looking forward to it!
