Merrill Farmhouse Wedding

It is with much pleasure that I share this wedding slideshow with you. This is a couple I have happily gotten to know in the past year. I couldn't imagine anyone else photographing their wedding. It was a special day for all of us. I know it meant a lot and for different reasons to the guests of their wedding, but for me it was truly awesome to feel like a part of the family.

The wedding venue happens to be one of my new favorites. Merrill Farmhouse is an authentic working Farm, and that meant a lot to Travis and Lauren. All of their vendors and most of their food was locally based and locally grown. The views from the farmhouse are captivating. I know of only a few places in Maine where I can shoot a sunset and get rolling farmland in the background. I have been looking for a place like this for years, literally--and here it was in my backyard all along! It only took Lauren and Travis's wedding to help me find it!
