Glynnis & John's Sunday Wedding
Glynnis and John were married this past Sunday at a beautiful venue in the countryside of New Jersey, the Ashford Estate. Glynnis was introduced to me through her co-worker at National Geographic, whose wedding I had photographed a few years back. Glynnis and John were looking for a style of candid and natural images that fit my style and as I like to travel to new locations, have an excuse to travel to New York, I became their official photographer. All activities took place at the venue, and my assistant and I got there early to scout through the property and preview where we should take photos. The staff at the Ashford were very accommodating and helpful to keep everything running on time. We photographed family shots before the ceremony in designated areas away from guests who arrived early by shuttles to enjoy drinks on the lawn outside the chapel. Glynnis and Jon followed the ceremony with a few more wedding party pictures in the long drive, and then enjoyed their cocktail hour with guests.Â
