3 Great Reasons to do a Winter Shoot

From a photographer's viewpoint, it is a beautiful time of year! The light is lower in the sky and flattering on our faces and now that we actually have a good bit of snow outside, it is very bright on sunny days. LOVE LIGHT! Not only is it great to go outside and enjoy winter fun, but it is also great for photoshoots as well. If dressed properly with layers, the outdoors looks great on our skin making our cheeks pink and our eyes bright! So to entice you to do what maybe you often only think of doing I am running a winter session special!

Why do a family shoot in winter?

1. You wanted a winter shot for your holiday card last year and it didn't happen, maybe the holiday card didn't even happen!

2. You have a child who won't be home next fall because of college or travel or military service and you won't be able to get them in your 2020 holiday cards if you wait.

3. It's easy and Pineland is a great place for family portraits any time of the year! Not to mention post-shoot winter activities and food at Pineland Farms!
