Kids Lifestyle Portraits
When photographing kids I like to go into their world, to capture images of them being themselves and to give you images of expressions you already have seen and can then remember. Photographing kids can be a shoot for just them or as a part of the family portraits. Sometimes grandparents hire me to photograph their kids visiting, other times it is parents. Whatever your reason may be, share with me about your child, what it is you love about them. What about them that makes them different from their siblings. I look forward to hearing from you!

Sharyn is amazing. From clucking noises, tossing the ball for the dog and putting mobiles on her head, this awesome photographer goes above and beyond to get the shot!

The best moments for kids portraits are not posed. On their own, children are captivating. It is my job as a photographer to find that bridge into connecting with them. One of the best ways to do that is to engage on their level, to think like a child with my photo agenda in the background.
Also important on a child's shoot is to give them space. Space to be and to explore. Space to have fun. This is why a full session allows for more candid photography but also for more time for the child to be themselves and get to show me who they are.
