Celebrating Mia: A Sunrise Senior Session To Remember
here’s something incredibly special about watching someone grow up through the lens of your camera. I’ve had the joy of photographing Mia since she was a little girl, and this past August, I had the honor of capturing her senior photos as she prepared for her final year of high school. Fast forward to now, and she’ll be graduating next week—how time flies! 🎓💙
Â
For Mia’s session, we embraced the golden beauty of a 6am sunrise. While early wake-ups aren’t always easy, Mia showed up with grace and energy, and the lighting was absolutely magical. From natural light glowing behind her to quiet moments by the water, this shoot felt like a true reflection of who she is—thoughtful, strong, and ready for her next adventure.
Â
Mia will be heading to the University of New Hampshire this fall, and I couldn’t be more proud of all she’s accomplished. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love senior photography—getting to freeze time during such a big transition in a young person’s life.
Â
📣 To all parents of rising seniors: Now is the perfect time to start planning your senior’s session! Summer and early fall are ideal for capturing warm light, lush backdrops, and relaxed, natural smiles. Whether it’s golden hour, sunrise, or somewhere meaningful to your family, let’s create something beautiful together.
Â
Let’s celebrate your student’s accomplishments with timeless, authentic photos they’ll treasure for years to come.
Â
With gratitude,
Sharyn 💫
