WHAT:

Mini-Session

A portrait mini session is a shorter photo shoot that lasts about 15 minutes. It's a chance for you to capture pictures of your changing family at times when the world itself is changing--becoming cooler and more dramatic. 

By signing up, you agree to the following:

1. At your designated time slot, you will meet me at the studio. You can then choose to do the shoot inside the studio or out on the Pineland Farms grounds. 

2. You will have 15 minutes of shoot time.

3. You will return to the studio a couple weeks later to select images for your two digital files and if so inclined, purchase additional photo products. 

4. All additional purchases with come with a three week online gallery extension and mobile app.

FAQ

How many images do we get to choose from?

Each 15 minute session will generate between 30-50 images for you. 

Does the session fee come with prints or digital files?

The session includes two digital files; it does not include any prints or other products. Those are purchased separately after the session. Because most people do not know what they want until they see the images, I do not include prints or files in my session costs.

What if I live out of state, how do I attend a post shoot consult?

Not a problem! We will set up a 15 minute zoom call where I can go over how to use the gallery, packages that are available, and how to place your order.

Can the Mini Session include outfits?

Generally, no, there is not enough time in a mini session to change. Sweaters and jackets can come on or off, and babies dressed down to diaper covers (if we're inside or the season is appropriate), but that is about it for outfit changes!

Do you photoshop images?

I will photoshop images once an order has been placed. I do not like the image to look airbrushed; I will, however, remove acne and blemishes when necessary. 

What will we do if it rains?

I will be watching the weather that week and will be in touch 2 days prior to the shoot to discuss options. If it rains we will move our session to the following day or inside the studio located at Pineland Farms. If you are ok with mist, it can actually make for beautiful pictures!

Where is the studio?

The studio is located on the beautiful campus of Pineland Farms in New Gloucester Maine on the main floor of Auburn Hall.

Can I purchase a gift card for a mini session?

Yes absolutely! Please let me know where to mail the gift card to.

How do I purchase additional digital files?

Digital images can be purchased individually at $125 per image. They also come included in all framed print orders. For example, if you order a beautiful 11x14 print framed for your home, that corresponding digital image is included for you to make prints with for other family members or include in your annual family calendar etc. 

How long does it take to receive my order?

Orders take 4-6 weeks to be delivered after the payment is received in full. If your order includes digital images, digital images will be available for download 2-5 days after payment is received in full.

Can we bring grandparents to the mini-session?

Absolutely! Grandparents are invited and welcome to join in.

Can we include our pets in the mini-session? 

Sadly, Pineland Farms cannot accommodate pets.  

How long do you keep the digitals?

I guarantee the digitals for 30 days after the viewing session, the length of time of your online gallery. I keep the digital negatives for 1 year for those who have placed an order.
