I am a proud sponsor of Portland Youth Dance's hip hop exchange, X-9. This year's event took place at the Maine Basketball Academy in Portland, Maine, on Sunday March 3rd. Dancers from across the state and New England came out. There were three categories to battle: Breaking, Freestyle, and Freestyle 15 and under. The energy was high and the music was loud. It is a one of a kind event in Maine. Special thanks to Elizabeth Lau of Portland Youth Dance for making this event happen. It is in it's 9th year.
