Stephanie & Adam's Spruce Point Inn Elopement

Stephanie & Adam's Spruce Point Inn Elopement

Stephanie and Adam flew all the way from Texas to be married here in Maine. When some of her family heard this, they asked to come along and Stephanie told me she told them sure! Stephanie shared that she and Adam were laid-back people that love the outdoors and love Maine. She said they had no agenda for the wedding day or pictures and she said she would leave it up to me. I told her not a problem, I always had plenty of ideas and I love photographing at the Spruce Point Inn in Boothbay Harbor. I also enjoy being around laid people with a Texas/Oklahoma accent!

Here are few images from their elopement package. I requested we get portraits of the family because a) they were there, and because faces and people are what I love.

Stephanie kept it casual with her madras plaid Sperry's for bridal shoes!

We hit up all the hot spots at Spruce Point Inn for portraits of Stephanie and Adam. While walking up to the trail they told me of their Maine route and plans, leaving the Spruce Point Inn they were going to drive up the coast to Bar Harbor, spend a day or two at Acadia. Good choice! Then they were heading to Bangor because they love reading Stephen King. Of course. We shared our favorite Stephen King. I confessed I can't read it (drags out the scary too long for me), but I had a few movies I appreciated. When they told me they didn't want to live in Texas forever, I asked if they would move back to Oklahoma, they said nope! We want to move to Maine one day! OK then! I like it. Congratulations to Stephanie and Adam, for having their best friends to live with until the unknown. That is a good thing!
