Baby Emerson's Newborn Photo Session at the Studio!
Baby Emerson came into the studio for her newborn photo session at 14 days old. She was solidly sleeping and wanted no part of walking up. Who can blame her! The drive up from Portland to Pineland Farms in New Gloucester was just enough to get her slumber. I had the heater and her little "photo" bed ready for her and with the help of the binky, which she really likes, we got plenty of shots of her precious sweet face!
She is very expressive and her parents agreed indeed she was. She was clearly dreaming away!
Then we got some shots with her beautiful mom Allie. Yes little newborn Allie is naked and we are pushing our time limit!
And then we ran out of time and without even waking little Emerson let loose! We looked around and went what was that noise! Some white background paper was trimmed and removed. Clean up in aisle one!
Back to business with a little piece of assurance. :)
Dad Sam had his turn with his favorite new girl!
I think it is important to have the baby together with both parents. A photo they will love years from now especially.
We tried outside for a bit, but the hour was up and baby Emerson was hungry from her sleeping newborn session!
This photo shoot was gifted to Allie from her coworkers at Brown Goldsmiths. Giving a gift of a photo session is truly a lasting and thoughtful gift. Plus, everyone gets to enjoy looking at the faces they love! It is a gift that gives back!
