Last weekend I photographed singer and songwriter Josh Tobey for promotion of his upcoming shows in Boston. I had heard him play before, but it was really great getting a solo show. In short, I would say he sings the blues.

Laura & Tiger were married August 4, on her parents 30th wedding anniversary, at Tiger's family farm and property in Waldoboro ME. Laura & Tiger are both music teachers and incorporated elements of this into their reception with tables named after do ra me fa so la ti do! Laura Cabot catering provided a wonderful array of delicious food and a teacup display for coffee and pie was by Moody's dinner. The band the Tough Cats, from Rockland, kept everyone on the dance floor in a non-traditional way. Laura and her bridesmaids had their hair and make-up done by Head Games Salon from Portland. And I have to say the Blue Skye Farm B&B provided a lovely location for shots where Laura got ready.

Jessica & Brian were married in July in Jess's hometown, Eaton, NH. They both work at a school in Ethiopia and planned their wedding from overseas. I shot the dinner rehearsal and the all the wedding day events including swimming at the lake in between the reception and dancing. This was great because I got to play with my new underwater camera housing. Brian's Uncle Dave said to me " What, you don't photograph all your couples under water, where have been living, in a bubble!"

Last month I photographed the Ireland kids at Wolfe Neck Farm. It was one of those rare sunny days, perfect actually, not too hot! The kids were very easy going and I enjoyed our time together!

I recently did a shoot for the Westervelt, Martin, Weisz & Eager families while they gathered at Higgins Beach from locations all across the country for a Mrs. Martin's 70th birthday party. Here are some of the shots we got!

This is Tess, she was featured in a show of portraits I did last summer at Starbucks in the Old Port. It was cool to see her again, now much taller.

I like how the color in her shirt is picked up in the rocks at Higgins.

Featured here is a former bride and groom and their baby boy Henry. We did a shoot in Biddeford Pool while they were vacationing with friends and family. Henry and I got soaked by a wave, but 1 minute later he was back to having fun!

Last week I photographed the crew at Headgames Salon. They need a new group photo to update 2 of their latest additions! As always, tons of fun. I ask them, do you guys always have fun working together, or is it just at photo shoots? No, they said, we always have fun at work. Nice.

This is the new massage therapist, Ryan. I had a complimentary chair massage, FANTASTIC!. He has got the touch.

Ryan, like me, is a pug owner. Charlie was loving a little doggie massage during the shoot.

Reagan & Nick were married last month in Phippsburg and my assistant Sarah & I spent the day with them, their friends and families. Nick being from the mid west, which is where they are living now, said all he wanted on his wedding day, aside from Reagan of course, is bacon wrapped scallops. Sebasco delivered an entire tray of bacon wrapped scallops during our family portrait session. Reagan looked fabulous in her dress, which photographed beautifully. The fabric I was in awe over. Her mom's salon in Bath, Betsy's also did a fabulous job on her hair and make-up. Here is a preview of their day.

On a sunny Thursday afternoon last June, I photographed Lisa & John who were married the following weekend. Lisa wanted a bridal sitting to photograph her in her grandmothers wedding dress which was shipped up from North Carolina. Lisa had shared with me that she didn't think she photographed well, but I disagree. I also believe that when a bride & groom have a shoot, the nature of being in close proximity with the one you are in love lends itself to bringing out ones best look. We had a fabulous time at the farm where they live in Harpswell. I am very happy for them, the young love birds.

Last week I did Avi's 9 month shoot. He is much more mobile than 6 months ago, but very much still as charming as ever! We did mostly a no clothes shoot. We added mom in the end (with clothes yes) to showcase her new hair!

Amie & Jamie were married in February and this June I photographed the reception. I love, love, love the dress she chose for the event! Reception was held at the Portland Club and catered by Black Tie. Flowers were by a new company in Portland called Compositions. Place cards were done by Papier Gourmet on Free Street also in Portland.

I love this shot of Lindsey when she sees Andrew for the first time on their wedding day. I have just added a preview of their wedding to my site. There are many great moments and wonderful colors I hope you can enjoy!
