audobon wedding

Marcie & Andrew were married at the Audubon in Falmouth. The guys were ready on time, the weather was stunning and it was simply a great day. Aurora catering provided amazingly delicious food and Motor Booty rocked the house. I think I still have cotton stuck in my ears though (it was a bit loud ).Preview

awesome workshop

David Williams came to Maine from Australia and gave an awesome workshop at Michelle Turner's in Augusta. 15 minutes in to the workshop I thought, I can not believe I contemplated not attending. I thank my friend Michelle Turner for this workshop. Tuesday we stayed late and watched one of my favorite movies Amelie and discussed its use of still frames, color and lighting. When you see me watching my hand for lighting, know it's from David Williams and that I am not crazy. Well not in that instance anyway. And, I was called cheeky :)

wedding in phippsburg

Sara & Nick were married on a perfect August summer day in Phippsburg Maine. Sara looked amazing. They were (and are) very much in love. Sebasco seemed to do a great job keeping the reception moving smoothly and lets talk about the cake. I had 2 pieces that night. Now all I can think about is carrot cake. Preview

september 17   shoot for the children's museum

Last spring the Boone family purchased a family shoot with enlargement that I had donated to the Children's Museum benefit auction in Portland. We finally organized our schedules and did the shoot at Portland headlight this September. They wanted an ideal Maine background for their shoot as their time in Maine may be coming to end soon and Mr. Boone's job will regrettably move them to New Jersey. We had a lot of fun on the shoot. Here is a preview of our time.

dark & stormy newport wedding

"Dark & Stormy" was the drink of choice for Tara & Billy's wedding on Saturday September 6th. Hurricane Hannah was struggling to make her presence known that evening as we enjoyed the wedding reception on the shore of Newport RI. Tara & Billy were very into taking photos, and made my job very enjoyable. I will also be posting images from the amazingly delicious Sunday brunch soon. Here is a preview of Tara & Billy's wedding.

becky & josh

Happy Anniversary Becky & Josh! It was one year ago this weekend when Becky & Josh were married on a very hot September Saturday 9-8-7. The wedding was a visual delight. Becky shoots for National Geographic. I should see what she is up to these days. Becky was a dream bride, nice, pretty and easy to work for. I revisited her wedding while going through images to submit for Seacoast Bride Magazine yesterday. Here is a preview of Becky & Josh's wedding.

love in south freeport

Rosie and Matthew asked me to take pictures of them before Rosie left for her out of state college experience. I would bet money that it won't be long before Matthew transfers out of Maine to a school closer to Rosie. And, they look really good together. Here is a preview of teenage love!

wedding in harpswell

Kate & Miles Harpswell Wedding. At the end of the weddingI told to Kate how much I loved the cake, the band and basically the whole day. She looked at me like I was blowing smoke up her... bum. But I wouldn't do that. Kate is not someone to mess with. She was a bride on a mission from day one. She only interviewed me 5 times before she hired me. So was it worth it Kate? I think so. I am into the shots we got. Here is a wedding preview from Kate & Miles.
