Here is a recent holiday card I designed for the Wetzel family from our shoot this summer. Double sided 5x7.

Kristin and David were married at St. Mary's in Bath on October 10th. The reception was held at the Sebasco Resort. The day was slightly windy but the light was great for getting capturing everyone on that beautiful autumn Maine day. The center pieces were made by David from driftwood that they collected from walks on Maine beaches. David works at Thomas Moser and is extremely skilled at wood working. It took him 15 minutes to make the cake topper. Impressive. I didn't get a taste of this cake but I did like the colors of the frosting picking up colors from Kristin's dress. Kristin was adamant about seeing everyone at her wedding and shaking it on the dance floor! Without a doubt, if Kristin puts her mind on it, it is going to happen. She bought her house in Richmond and told her family that this was the house she was going to have her family in. 3 months later she reconnected with her high school sweetheart. 4 years later, they are married. Jillian & Jeremiah are high school sweethearts and officially united their families on September 12th at the York Harbor Reading Room against the beautiful Maine Coast. Jillian did not let the rain stop her from being absolutely radiant all day. I liked photographing Jillian I realized later on that she reminded me of a close high school friend (must have simi liar genetic make-up). Her dress is a very altered Kiri by Maggie Sottero. Their wedding cake was the best tasting cake I have had the pleasure of eating all year, I don't always get a piece but this chocolate cake was unforgettable. Correction, the cake was made by Let Them Eat Cake in Kennebunk. Preview to come soon.

One word to describe Julia, sweet. When I look at Josh's pictures, I see the man whom Julia loves whole heartedly. Julia wore her Monique Lhuillier dress wonderfully, flowers by Alda Stitch were just what Julia wanted, catering was by Belle Fete Group, and this Maine wedding went off fabulously at the original Point Look Out from the MBNA era in Lincolnville, ME.

Hannah & Scott's wedding: picturesque coastal Maine wedding. On one of the nicest weekends we had all summer. The wedding and ceremony took place at the Spruce Point Inn, btw is also where Hannah had her hair and make-up done. Flowers were by Alda Stitch, music by the Jennifer Love Band and Hannah's dress is the Sophie ball gown from Vineyard (Priscilla's of Boston).

OK this really was her brother's 1 year session, but I talked it over with Avi and he said I could photograph his sister too. Could she be a potential GAP model? We will find out.

Elizabeth & Nick were married in the heart of Maine, on a boat called the Kahtadin on Moosehead Lake. The reception was held at Woody's Bar & Grille. The wedding was beautiful as was Elizabeth and her bridesmaids in yellow. Elizabeth's dress was by Barcelona designer "Pronovias". It is the 2008 "Delphin" style.

This past summer I photographed a family from my daughter, Lucia's, old daycare. They have since moved out of state, and Lucia still points the way to Margaret's house. Baby Ben's mom is big fan of cloth diapers, check out the pair he had on for the shoot. Eric, the oldest kind of started to trust me.

Tonight at the new Binga's @ 77 Free St in Portland, is an auction to benefit the Susan Curtis Foundation. I am donating a photo shoot at the auction and photographing the event. I wanted to support this auction because one of my (adopted) son Eddie's dearest friend Chip Walker has been a counselor there for many years. He has told me countless stories of camp. His love and dedication to the camp made it easy to say yes to photographing the event and donating a shoot when asked.
