The transformation of a bride on the wedding day. Here it is. Because I know this bride, very well. She is my hair stylist, from Headgames. And Mau who did her up, did a great job, watch the gorgeousness reveal itself! :) I get my hair done tomorrow. So I had better post something or maybe Kate woudl chop all my hair off and make me look like a boy. |

On a beautiful full moon night in September, Emily & Dan headed out to Peaks Island with their closest family and friends to have their rehearsal dinner. The light was stunning from the late afternoon sun, through sunset and into the moonlight. It was everything they wanted, to share on of the favorite places, POrtland Maine, with their loved ones. With a lobster bake provided by Dan's parents at the museum on island, to the flashlights to guide everyone back to the ferry later that night. It was the beginning of a memorable weekend. I loved the reflections on the beach during this shoot at Popham Beach. We had tried all week to get out and do this shoot, and finally the weather broke and we had a day worthy of a shoot, and good thing, for it was the last day that Kate and her family were to stay at Popham Beach. Her photogenic 2 year old Gavin is the inspiration for this shoot. His eyes and the love his parents have for him, and his grandma too, are what make this shoot so awesome. There are a few technical elements that I want to discuss that make this shoot blogable, and I will write about them in my new blog.... ! |
