my baby's chub! |
This little chub or cuteness was my daughter eating her first meal. This was taken a few years back now, and I came across some of these images, and I just about started to cry. I had to blog it! She is now so lean and tall, and her eyes tell a different story. I remember this day so clearly, it was a Columbus Day weekend, she was just shy of 6 months old, I plopped her down on my new sample rug from Angela Adams because I thought her skin tone looked so good on the plum rug. She ate real food and was LOVING IT! So glad I have these baby chub images to remember her with. |

new wedding preview |
I decided a few year's back to try to show all of my weddings on my site. To select my favorite 40 + images from each wedding .Not all the weddings are online, and 40 is a small number to choose. Here is Jacquie & Devin's preview gallery, the latest to be uploaded. I went to town photographing Jacquie in the short spurts of time we had. Again, her hair and make-up is by Headgames Salon. |

seacoast bride magazine |

I am happy to be a part of Seacoast Bride Magazine's 3rd publication. I think this is a great magazine full of wonderful local weddings and is an important resource for brides planning a New England Wedding. I think the photo gallery maybe a bit smaller than the past 3 years, but the photo gallery and the features are my favorite part! This image is from my May 23rd wedding of Lindsey & Andrew. Lindsey's nephew carried the (yes real) wedding rings in a birds nest. Love it!

Amanda & Kris were married at the Eastland Park Hotel in downtown Portland December 27th. This was a military wedding, both Amanda and Kris are in the army and that is how they met. Amanda is a Captain and Kris is a CW3 (Chief Warrant Officer 3). When asking Amanda via email about her rank she wrote "You will totally get me to giggle with that. I find my military life very hard to relate to if I'm all dolled up in Maine! I outrank Kris by the way. ;)". Very nice Amanda, even though in different rank structures it makes me think he has to take orders from her! What I like about military weddings are how well the guys take tasks, Kris's best man, Kit, had no problem checking on the limo or anything else I asked of him. Everyone was very cooperative running around Portland taking pictures when the rain pretty much stopped and before we lost the last few bits of late December Maine light. Amanda's sister Allison Violette sang for the ceremony and a special song for the reception. The hot bridesmaids legs belong to another 2009 bride of mine!

Amanda & Kris were married the Sunday after Christmas here in Portland. The rain and wind stopped in time for us to go out get some great shots around town. Amanda was a sport to take off her fur cloak for this shot. As I have said before...more images to follow! |

Here is a quick peek of Jacquie & Devin's wedding in Portland this past fall. I have photographed Jacquie before and I couldn't wait to photograph her again, she is a doll. Last time she was blonde, so this was a new look, and a whole new element. More images to follow! |
